Look into “Main.js” for “load()” function. You'll get at the beginning of this function some code beginning with “//ugly hack to disable search history for Safari 3 Beta users” and ending with “//end Safari 3 stuff”.

The goal it to build the search field without history feature on Safari 3 because of a WebKit bug.

You will find the “wdgtSearchInputDiv” div element where the search field is built into “wiki.html” file.

Hi Arnaud,

We are just launching our new web site: www.widgetop.com - 'Widgetop'
which is a web desktop that is able to run Apple dashboard widgets online
in a browser. Currently we support Firefox, Safari, Camino, Sea Monkey, Netscape 8 and all
browsers that support Gecko web core (20051201+ versions).

Since your Rot13 widget license is freeware we tested it out on Widgetop and it
worked very well. We liked your widget and so want to have it hosted for
our launch where other developers and some end users can test Widgetop
when they first login.

We created an account for you so that you can login and see what on our
web desktop and so you can manage your widget further and post update to
it if you want to. Please send us an email to get your login details.

You have a developer account so you can further manage your widget if you
want to. Please click on our developer tab and then the 'Widget Submit'
link to enable you to upload or change change any of the details already
stored in the Widgetop catalog.

All widgets get tested before they are deployed onto the live server.

You can also put a quick add button on your web site to launch your
widgets on Widgetop desktop automatically:
